PRIVACY NOTICE: All contact information (address, phone number, e-mail address) entered into this website will be kept confidential. It will not be shared or distributed. Your contact information is private: your street address, e-mail address, and phone number cannot be seen by the classmates unless you grant permission on your Profile. When someone clicks on your name, the only contact information they will see is your city and state and whatever information about yourself you choose to put on your Profile after they have logged on. Unless you explicitly grant your permission, your email address is not visible, although an email can be sent to you using the contact box at the bottom of your Profile page. Note, however, if you send a message to someone through their Profile page, the Classmate will see your email address so that they can respond.
It has been awhile but trust me the last few months have been hectic. I have barely been able to keep up with the website and other happenings because looking after my parents is a round the clock occupation.
Still I love the reunion photos, videos and updates - you had fun! Hopefully I will be at the next one.
Below is an excerpt from an email I received. The sender wanted to make WOGA aware of the matter and the association is already brainstorming to see how it can assist. We are seeking further information because we suspect that those involved in the effort want it handled with discretion.
In the meantime I just wanted to pass on the update on how Ms. Beale is faring. I will pass on further information as it comes my way.
EXCERPT "... [The sender of the email] was in Brown's Town, St. Ann on the weekend and was informed reliably by a neighbour of Miss Beale, that she is in need of financial assistance. The Rev. Desmond Smith, recently retired minister of the Jamaica Baptist Union, (his older daughter attended Westwood) indicated that he wishes to establish some kind of fund for her and to this end, has made a videotape of her, sharing her life and experiences of/at Westwood. He proposes to distribute/sell this video to interested persons and thought that the Association may be a good place to start..."
If anyone has an ideas re the video or other ways of assisting Ms. Beale please share.
Love you all, Cesna
